Just a factual chart of the past couple of years as I was trying to track players who have come here and how they have done elsewhere.

*NOTE: "1 and Done" = either a Frosh who goes to the NBA or a transfer portal here for only 1 year before eligibility expires

2023-24 team (only 3 of the 11 returned in 24-25)

Eligibility Expired (2) : Jalen Bridges, Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua
1 and Done (3): Ja'Kobe Walter, Yves Missi, RayJ Dennis
Transferred Out (3): Caleb Lohner (Utah), Miro Little (Utah, then Santa Barbara), Dantwan Grimes (late Dec transfer to Tarleton St)
Returnees for 24-25 (3): Jayden Nunn, Langston Love, Josh Ojianwuna

2024-25 team (as we know, 0 returnees for 25-26)

Eligibility Expired (1): Jayden Nunn
1 and Done (3): VJ Edgecombe, Norchad Omier, Jeremy Roach
Transferred Out (8): Rob Wright (BYU), Josh Ojianwuna (Ohio St), Jason Asemota (Boston College), Jalen Celestine (Cincinnati), Langston Love (Georgetown), Omar Adegbola (Northwestern State), Marino Dubravcic (Northern Iowa), Yanis Ndjonga (McNeese St)

So how have the transfers fared?

Caleb Lohner - Played in 22 of 33 games; avg. 2.8 ppg, 2 rebounds a game. Basketball eligibility expired

Miro Little - Year 1 Utah - Saw action in only 12 of 33 games; 5.3 ppg; 3.2 rebounds; 2.9 assists; Year 2 - Santa Barbara - started and played 14 games thus far out of 20, not sure if he was injured and missed the 6; 11.8 ppg, 4.9 rebounds, 4.6 assists

Dantwan Grimes - Played in 21 of 32 games; started 1; 10.4 ppg; 2.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists. That was his final year of college eligibility

Rob Wright - 18.0 ppg, 3.8 rebounds, 5.2 assists; shooting 45% from 3 at BYU so far

Josh Ojianwuna - DNP - Injured - Redshirting

Jason Asemota - has played in 13 out of 20 games (games missed due to suspension then injury), no starts, 8.1 minutes per game, 3.2 ppg, 2.6 rebounds, 34.8% from 3

Jalen Celestine - Played in 19 of 20 games; started 1; 19 minutes a game; 5.9 ppg, 2.5 rebounds, 36.4% from 3; 42.9% Free Throw

Langston Love - Also played in 19 of 20 games; started 1; 13 minutes a game; 3.4 ppg, 1.8 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 26.7% from 3

Omar Adegbola - Played in all 19 games; 15 minutes a game; 6 ppg, 2.2 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 30.0% from 3

Marino Dubravcic - Redshirting

Yanis Ndjonga - Played in 17 of 20 games; 12 minutes a game, 3.1 ppg, 4.0 rebounds, 60% FG, 33.3% from 3

Langston didn't play in another game beyond my original post on January 25 and ends up missing 12 games or 39% of Georgetown's total during the Hoya's 14-17 season. According to the Georgetown fan site he is contemplating seeking another year, although they say (and we all know how inaccurate fan sites can be) he will enter the transfer portal at the recommendation of head coach Ed Cooley.

He ends up only getting 12 minutes a game as the 4th guy off the bench and gives the Hoyas only 3.4 points per game, 1.8 rebounds, 38% from the field and a woeful 26% from 3 point land.

I know some were critical of Scott for letting him go, but it is readily apparent Langston is unfortunately just one of those undependable guys whose high talent level is never gonna be realized due to injuries.
