on the bench. Why so many? What's their purpose? Are they helping BU win games? Doesn't seem like it.

Inflated number of personnel on this team that obviously isn't helping one bit. Would love to know how the game video sessions go and what they even say.

And Mack threw another $2m to Drew's salary when he flirted with Kentucky. What a joke. Drew better win in Manhattan.

You know how BU Athletics goes now-a-days.. big inflated incomes regardless of results

Or what? Ridiculous take. Drew is the best coach in Baylor history in all men's sports. He deserves any money he got. Your throwing ultimatums at him? He got screwed by Wright and couldn't adjust. Bad year.

He can have 5 more bad years before any intelligent fan would give him an "or else".

You must have never seen another college or NBA bench .

Listen.. we know we suck.. we don't need to turn this into the Football board where everyone starts a thread about everything like complaining about the color of the Gatorade on the sidelines is Mack and Linda's fault.

I have actually....and they don't have 18 guys, in 2 rows, wearing matching quarter-zips on the bench. It looks ridiculous, I noticed it a few years ago but never brought it up. There's no way all those guys need to be there. Back in the day (a much better time btw) there was the head coach and about 5 assistants all wearing suits & ties. I think they're suffing from 'Paralysis from Over-Analysis' these days.

Talk about ridiculous takes, and I regard Drew highly for his body of work alone.
You must be too young to not recall Clyde Hart and Jack Patterson in track. Grant was no slouch, having to work like a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest with no shoe. in a former age were Bill Henderson (BB) and Morley Jennings (FB). Heck, even Dutch Schroeder and Mickey Sullivan in BB shine pretty goOd on such a list. No one needs to advocate for Scott Drew with any accolades especially weak ones.

Most fans don't scan the men's team benches and comment about the wardrobe ... just sayin.

Lol. I had Michael Johnson in several of my classes. I've been around

How many of those guys won National Championships? Barring Covid Drew would have gone undefeated and likely won 2 nattys?

I'm not bad mouthing those great coaches, especially Coach Teaff and Coach Hart. Heck I think Art Briles was a unicorn coach and is atleast the second greatest football coach if not the best. But I would be happy to debate anyone that Scott Drew is the big dog.

5 more bad years ??? exactly what I would expect out of someone from the pay site....You must work for a non-profit that has zero accountability. And having Wright on this team does not instantly make it a Big12 contender - shows you how intelligent of a fan you are....

You obviously never played the sport and can't see how poorly coached in fundamentals this group is - - that is coaching. Period. Drew lost his assistants who really did the work - he was the face....well, now that he actually has to coach...we are seeing that result.

Coach Hart is the best coach at Baylor. Period. Sustainability and Longevity... How many Big12 championships does Drew have? 1 Natty....He reached the peak...got a pay raise....flirted with Kentucky got a $2m pay raise and look at the result this year - - sorry, great coaches find ways to win. This team looks worse than they did at the beginning of the season...Drew can't even articulate what he is trying to do with the program. What's the plan next year when you lose all your players again...basically nothing has changed other than losing 12 months of time to building sustainability...

But can any of these quarter-zips hoop, and do they have any eligibility left? No way they aren't better than the current team.

*** dude. You might be the biggest idiot on this entire board and that takes serious cranial malfunction to accomplish. I honestly can't tell if you are trolling or if you are really this stupid. Put down the Busch light and chill.

I own my own for profit business for 10 years. Worked in corporate world for 25 years before that. I'be played on countless teams and individual sport competitions over the years.

Never said Wright made us a Big 12 competitor. But we win 5-6 more games with him and we are competitive

Make an intelligent point maybe without hard personal attacks or eff off.

You think Drew sucks. Good luck getting anyone with a brain to agree with you. Dude won the only Natty in Baylor's men's history. This year sucks - no doubt. First time in a long time we won't make the NCAA tournament. I was at Baylor when every year sucked. Grow up and quit being a dolt.

So true. People get strangely politically poisoned that now we are blaming Linda for Scott Drew now? Wild.

This is obviously true, but the absurdity of having 35 coaches on the bench is highlighted when you're paying millions of dollars to field a team that looks uncoached.
