Isaac Williams has quickly become a really good scorer. I really hope we can hold onto him next year. He could be one of our better players in 2026-27, if we do.
A W tonight should guarantee a winning record heading into the B12 tournament. I'd take that considering how poor this season has been
I thought we'd match up pretty well in this game, and so far we have.
I don't trust this team late in close games because of our defense and depth issues, but we're playing hard and competing well again tonight.

This team seems to be slowly figuring things out about 4 weeks too late
Up nine with five minutes to play before halftime, this is where we usually give up a run and lose all of our momentum. Time to show some growth and maturity.

I thought his shot selection was a little iffy early in this game, but he's caught fire the last five to eight minutes. He's such an explosive scorer. I'm going to miss him.

When this team plays well, it's really fun to watch.
The problem is that only happens about once every six games.
In the Oklahoma State, Colorado, Arizona and UCF games, this was a good basketball team. Unfortunately, it's floor is below the basement.

Fyi.. OU made it in 2019 with a 7-11 record

Seems like a longshot of epic proportions. It's a shame they crapped the bed against Memphis and KSU. Because those 2 wins and a strong finish could be enough

Going 0-3 against TCU and Cincinnati killed us, too. We needed to win at least one of those.
Let's see if they can finish this. They did give up 42.

Oh definitely it is. I just never give up till the magic number is 0.
The games that drive me crazy were the Iowa St game in Waco and the clunker in Cincy.
That ISU game would have been a huge resume data point.. a d Cincinnati is someone if my Hail Mary scenario comes to fruition we'll be competing against for that last spot.

The Kansas State game was the biggest disaster of the season. We got blown out by a terrible team without a coach. There was no excuse whatsoever for that.

Started trying to drive into a 7-foot shot blocker looking for fouls and stopped playing defense.

This is such a poorly coached basketball team. Drew has **** the bed in all phases this year
Pass the ball, you clowns. You can't drive out of control into a 7-footer every possession. Make a damn adjustment and try to create space, move the basketball and get open shots.

We've stabilized things a little bit. But we still feel really herky-jerky right now. We need to calm down and play basketball.
