1. Flory Bidunga - KU is the biggest name so far

If true Tech has around 12 million wrapped up in 3 players alone. Grants a good coach. But with those kind of MIl funds he should be regularly winning the B12 and be in F4's. Just ridiculous how much this has ruined college sports

I had heard rumors at the Petroleum Club that Tech was gonna be willing to pay up to $7.5 million for Bidunga. I wonder now if they went that high (assuming this commitment is true).

If they went that high, that's likely more than the entire TEAM budgets at the majority of schools.

So much for the hopes the portal traffic and NIL $$ would settle down this year. With Kansas at 4 in the portal, Tennessee and Georgia already have 6 each. That said, I think Rick Barnes may have had 6 transfers in a year when he was coaching at UT...

I think the one transfer without penalty would be a step in the right direction, making the players at least think twice before they hit the portal button. I expect, however, any rule change to be tied up in court for a while.

Correct. There's some heavy rumors both Toppin and Anderson are coming back to Tech with monster bags again. Techs going to out spend everyone but maybe BYU by a significant amount.
