Thanks for posting, I just watched the full game. I am more excited about our team than I have been in several seasons. The backcourt of Mingo brothers and Williams will be phenomonal. I love Kayden's old-school game, getting in the paint for floaters and 8 foot set shots. He can penetrate at will. It's been a long time since we've had 2 point guards like Kayden and Williams who can both penetrate. It really puts defenses in a bind.
The younger Mingo, with his length he has the potential to be a defensive menace and elite rebounder for a guard. I love how unlike past freshmen such as Keyonte, Jakobe, and Tounde he won't have to carry the offensive load for us. He can focus on defending and picking his spots off of Kayden and Williams penetration, and getting easy finishes in transition.
Bodo Bodo doesn't yet look in game shape but when he rounds into form he will form a solid platoon at the 5 with Powell. Chatman is a great glue guy who I think starts at the 4 but can slot in at the 5 if Powell or Bodo Bodo get into foul trouble.
I love Celiscar, he gives me Tauren Prince vibes. Another versatile glue guy can play the 3 or the small ball 4. Good defensive instincts, can do it all handle, pass, defend, rebound, and can shoot the 3. Elijah Williams strikes me as a high IQ role player cut from the same mold as Celiscar, will not need to score much at all to be a valuable rotation player.
So to me that's our 8 man rotation, backcourt minutes split between Mingo brothers and williams, forwards Elijah Williams, Celiscar, and Chatman and the 5 split between Bodo Bodo and Powell. I think Decker and Perez are on the outside looking in. Perez doesn't look fully recovered from his knee injury, Decker doesn't have the athleticism or size to his game, and no PG skills. Appears just a 3 point specialist for us. Maybe 8-10 minutes max as a situational bench player.
