Good article. I'm so psyched up about the Bears future under CNC and our assistant coaches. I hope we are able to make a deep run in the tournament this year our players deserve it. But with a short bench it will be a challenge. Next year when we get to full strength, I have a feeling Baylor is going to display a whole new level of women basketball

Yes and I also can't wait for this series about both the mens and womens program it will be interesting. And we are going to get a better understanding of our coach. I am excited for all the things CNC can accomplish here!!

The chances at being at "full strength" next year are VERY low. We will likely only return Andrews, Owens, Bickel, Asberry & Gillespie [who is at least another year of weight loss and conditioning from being able to contribute]. We signed 4 players and are targeting one Spring Signee. We will be lucky to get 2 quality Transfers. Specifically, next season the depth in the post will again be very low……but at least we will have size on the wing to help in rebounding.

Next year we will be in a better situation "numbers wise" but won't be at a full roster until the 2023/2024 season.

Is there a level of WBB that's above 3 National Championships? Maybe World Championship? Galactic Championship?

Wishing and hoping for a successful run this year in Tournament…. with a core of NC players including possibly the #1 draft choice.

At the same time, preparing for the possibility of a 9win team, last year, making a stronger run than BU.
