After today's blowout of #7 ISU, I'm guessing we will move up. Any guesses to where?

If you look at the list of ranking media members under big 12 happenings last page, you will see the obvious bias for teams like ours, SC,Tenn, UConn etc. media members from the markets of blue chip schools have been hand selected to vote, ie, Waco trib, etc. that in itself hurts accurate assessment. I think we should be 11, but schools wout a media representative are at a disadvantage. And some teams are so bad, Aggie, that even a college station reporter could not rescue in clear conscience.
Way too much talk about an inside attack v outside attack...The really great teams will have both...If you have to have one or the other chances are if you are strong inside you will have a much more consistent record due to the Higher % shots if you only shoot the three then you will live by and you will flame out entirely without it.SSadler said:
But what the hell do you do with Iowa State? Talk about being exposed. They showed very little capacity to compete. Joens was held in check the first half and they couldn't buy a 3 point shot--their trademark.
Yesterday's Iowa state team doesn't even belong in the top 15--maybe even top 20.
Votes for 9-12 are pretty close.slimecap said:

How is UConn still in the top 10?
Texas climbs from a 15th-place tie to No. 9 in this week's AP poll. @TexasWBB hit the road last week and earned an 18-point win at then-No. 7 Iowa State and a 21-point victory at TCU. No. 24 Kansas State and No. 18 Oklahoma are on this week's schedule.

Texas at 9 is a joke......typical horn poll inflation and flatulation..
Ol' Danny Boy managed to leave out the fact that UT's 18 point win over ISU was with Ashley Joens, Aubrey Joens, and one other player unavailable due to Covid protocols. HUGE losses for ISU in that game.slimecap said:
