Game went to OT. Was 78 all end of regulation and OU outscored them 23-21 in OT.SirBearALot said:
how did W.Va. Score 99 on OU ?

Is that true? If we win out so we share big 12 title despite losing head to head twice with OU?
This scenario would give us the championship outright if we win out. If we just win out and end up tied with OU, we are still co-champs, but OU would be the number 1 seed in the Big XII tournament. But the statement that we win out and are co-champs at worst is true.whitetrash said:fredbear said:

We need Cows to take down IowaSt Wednesday, IowaSt to beat OU, and us to beat IowaSt again.
IowaSt has 2 losses: one by 18 and one by 25
OU lost to IowaSt by 3, but UT by 15 and KSt by 29.

Haven't read the rules, but if Baylor beat TCU in football and we ended up tied and were declared "co-champs", then the same should apply here. That "one true champion" crap went down the toilet a long time ago.allstate2000 said:fredbear said:

My understanding is that if OU and us both won out, we would officially share the regular-season conference championship but OU would be 1 seed in conference tournament due to tiebreaker of winning series with us. But if someone can point to the official rules about regular season Big 12 title sharing that would be cool. I know we shared with WVU one year, but I believe we also split series with them that year.
Yep. And in that game against Kansas, Baylor pulled off the mini-miracle, scoring 7 unanswered points in the last 14 seconds to win the game by 3, after free throws.blackie said:
And don't look now, but.........Kansas is in 4th place at 8-4. Glad we have already played them up there.
CNC needs to call a timeout in the ISU game with one second left and kick a field goal!whitetrash said:fredbear said:

Mulder, I will give you the feather in the cap for Vic but, it is a VERY small feather as OU seems to finally becoming into some relevance this year under their new coach.Mulder said:
Audrey Warren, a stellar student athlete unjustly ridiculed on this forum, led The Lady Longhorns to victory with 21 / 5 / 2.
This victory against OU, a team who swept the series with the former Baylor Lady Bears, is a feather in the cap of coach Vic Schafer and his charges.
I wasn't able to spend much time on this board before I recently retired but what I was surprised to see when I came back is that everyone had not yet put Mulder on mute. No need to be insulted when you can't see his posts.Dr. J said:Mulder, I will give you the feather in the cap for Vic but, it is a VERY small feather as OU seems to finally becoming into some relevance this year under their new coach.Mulder said:

However, don't EVER try and post or hypocritically pretend that you are a fan of the Baylor WBB team by calling them "our" girls when it is VERY clear to me and EVERYONE ELSE on this board that you bleed UT orange.
The hypocrisy is insulting.
I put the troll on ignore months ago. Only time I see a post of his is when someone replies to him......and it just reinforces my decision to ignore the guy.ChapBear said:I wasn't able to spend much time on this board before I recently retired but what I was surprised to see when I came back is that everyone had not yet put Mulder on mute.
