About halfway through the 1st quarter, one of the announcers began a rant about some legislation affecting LGBTQIA individuals and would now begin a moment of silence during the game and the second announcer said she supported her stance and would join her silence so the both quit talking while the game went on. No matter what their views they have no reason to bring political views into a basketball game announcement.

Why are you so bothered by this? I would argue it's not about politics, it's about human rights. She was referring to the "don't say gay" bill in Florida.

If you will remember, this post is about the inappropriate use of the broadcast for political purposes. That is still the case. No matter how you feel about the issue at hand. A bball broadcast is not the time for partisan cheap shots.

It's a Parental Rights bill to allow the parents a say in the education of their children. This should be nationwide because it's their children and those parents are also taxpayers footing the bill for the education system.

No hate from me. While I was conversing on this forum I was simultaneously texting a lesbian friend. Yes, you can be friends with someone you disagree with on this issue. No one said all gay people are child abusers. Your language. But little girls are being taught they need to become boys to have value. Sickens me. Cases of teacher influence have been documented numerous times. Gender dysphoria should not result in a parent or teacher leading a child down a path of false gender identity. Parents who need attention for themselves are guilty of this too. I ve seen videos of a preschool boy coached by his mother on what to say about his new identity. Sad sad. Baylor has clear statements on appropriate sexual expression. Check their website. You can't come onto a Baptist forum and yell at people for holding Baptists views. They are for men competing as women
They are for teachers suggesting and telling young elementary boys that they're girls in actuality
They are for discussing sex with 3rd graders

The problem with arguing with the left is that they have mastered deflection. I argue biological men should not be allowed to compete with biological women because of the inherent biological advantages of males lead to unfair competition. That's it. Thomas can otherwise live as he/she wants to live. Thomas just shouldn't be allowed to compete in women's swimming contests.

Then bulldog and others bring up Matthew Shepherd, gay marriage, witch trials, Christianity, etc. None of which are relevant. Argue the case for a biological man who identifies as a woman having a right to compete against biological women.

And as an actual scientist I can tell you that biological, chromosomal, and hormonal sex do not always align in such a simplistic binary as you insinuate.

The human species should not be redefined on the basis of anomalies. No species should, especially not humans.

Good point. I have a lot of sympathy for someone who doesn't fall within a clearly male or female category from a biological standpoint. I am focused on Thomas and those similar to him. Thomas seems to be all dude outside of the mental/psychological aspects which give him a clear physical advantage over female athletes.
