I'm quite curious about this. If the game had been called off due to the weather, it would not have surprised me. But pushing back half an hour does not present any obvious benefit that I can think of.

I can't quite figure out any benefit of pushing it back either, unless OU or the officials are delayed getting into town. If OU is trying to get home afterward, they'll be that much later and that much further from Norman when they drive into it.

it was something to do with OU traveling to Baylor they were running behind of schedule because of traffic

The worst traffic in Dallas today was inside the grocery aisles at Central Market.
They could have used a referee to declare fouls on the basket drivers.

Same here. Meanwhile, IowaSt is destroying KSt 55-33. Looks like only 2-3k in the stands in Ames, so weather must be nasty even for Iowans.
