So the Kansas State team that walloped Texas goes to Morgantown and gets beat 60-30 by West Virginia. Having seen both of those teams in Waco this year, that result really surprises me. Kansas State missed all 18 threes they attempted and shot 20% from the field. Yikes. The next 8 teams in the conference after Baylor this year are all impressively mediocre. Anyone can beat anyone. Then there is Oklahoma who may be lucky to win another game.

Honestly, we only look at Baylor, but this Conference needs to do some deep soul searching. As a Conference, this years addition is not good.

And that's apparently enough to get you player of the week honors.

Maybe they should just call it player of the day instead.

Great point ! Thanks for posting.
It's ironic what different parents have told me generically about recruiting. Parents have said that the huge amounts of mail and text messages from recruiting schools is massive for a Top 25 recruit. The long list from the athlete is actually a shrinking message to the other 100+ coaches that they are no longer being considered. Parents have said they encourage the list to keep their teenager from being overwhelmed by those schools that they are not considering.
