Okay - - I have no idea why there's a scowl-y face next to my name on this post - because I think this is good news. haha - I'm such a rookie

Thanks for reporting. We are fortunate to stay there at this point. Really need team to develop, Bickle to stop getting into foul trouble, Dre to get cleared, and freshman to grow up fast.

Glad we still maintained this spot. Get some easier competition where we can practice implementing some new things and sharpen those things upon which we need to improve. Win out non conference. Let teams above us lose and fall out. Get to Christmas break and hopefully get Dre and Aijah back. Start conference fresh, confident and fully loaded. Then let the chips fall where they may.

The loss of Blackwell and Edwards set us back a great deal. Their experience in D1 WBB would have allowed the team to develop faster, we would no doubt be undefeated but that's spilled milk. Now we will need to rely on two ultra talented freshmen sooner than we thought. So far it looks like they are up to the challenge. They will take some lumps but I hope they keep their heads up and keep playing and learning because they are special. With their accelerated development we will be in a better position if we get Blackwell and/or Edwards on the court.

Is there an official chance Blackwell will return this year? Have not thought that was a possibility.

I figure the pollsters see this as our floor, with the missing pieces that were highly regarded requiring a restructured lineup.
