I for one am glad Mulkey's gone.
We cannot afford her PR time bomb nature.
Have you been around for the last 20 years?

Angel will do very well in the W. Alexis- it is up to her and if she can keep it together. She has the talent. I hope for her sake she does.

Winning another National Championship is definitely a noteworthy accomplishment.
Whether one likes KM, or not, the lady can coach.

I am a Baylor Bear and I love Baylor. Ive been quiet because Ive been conflicted with the unfortunate circumstances of her leaving Baylor. With that said, If Kim Mulkey would have been Nick Saban, Coach K, Coach Cal or any other successful male coach, she would still be at Baylor. Kim has a big personality. You hate her or love her. There is no middle ground. Many men don't accept that type of personality from women, but welcome it from men. The court, the gym and everything else at Baylor should have been named after her. She earned the right to have a seat at the table. She should have retired at Baylor on her own terms. If any of the above mentioned men would have been demanding and assertive, their requests would have been met and more. Kim knew her worth, went back to her home state, got paid more money, gets her nasty oysters that she likes to eat and won another championship. This was for all the women grinding in male dominated industries. Know your worth and act accordingly.

That just isnt the case. Saban has spent time at Michigan St and LSU. Coach Cal was at Umass and Memphis. Even great coaches wear out their welcome or need to take on a new challenge. It was becoming apparent both sides (BU and Kim) needed to move on.

I am incredibly happy Baylor has our current coach and not Mulkey. Mulkey could win 4 more national championships and I would still feel that way.
Why?
Gay females were the reason she won her championships. Tell me I am wrong. Mulkey knew they were gay. Mulkey knew they were gay. Knowing that, she recruited them.
Those women made Mulkey famous and made her a multi millionaire.
When Griner finally, after doing as asked and being quiet about who she was, as asked, became honest and told the truth, Mulkey dropped her like a hot potato. I have zero respect for her. Is she a great coach? Of course. Does that matter to me in the long run? No. How many NC's did Grant Teaff win? Do I respect him? Yes!!
So, from my perch, I love and respect our coach, and wis nothing but lack of success for selfish narcissistic Mulkey.

Mack Rhodes ego!!! If I was NC id get out of this dumpster fire next year-will be worse on her after KM wins her 4th
And Mulkey's ego wasn't involved?

Good lord, do you even watch basketball? Clark is an epic trash talker and she can back it up. Clark is the one who started the wave of hand in face a couple of games ago. It was just given back to her. Please stop acting like she didn't do anything to provoke

BU did need to move on from Mack Rhodes, the guy is straight up awful at his job, and is horrible at hiring coaches.
I'm with you. Kim Mulkey is a great coach. She's also a pretty miserable human being who is hard to work with and wasn't on board with the coaching culture her boss has tried to promote across programs.GruntTuff said:

Way to Coach classless players. I would much rather win fewer games and be proud of my coach and her players. Angel Reese and Alexis Morris who Kim kicked off her Baylor team both taunted Caitlin Clark during the game and after the game. You can win and still be LOSERS. I prefer to win with a quality coach and teamwin the right way.

There won't be a banner unveiling but you are invited to every painful press conference following a loss.Mitch Blood Green said:R3G said:

All these people talking about how classless Kim is.
Just an observation. All the "classy" losing doesn't feel as good as what Kim did.
Please invite me to the "classy" banner unveiling. Is there a trophy, a ring)l?

Why did we EVER let that woman leave?
Should have said, "How high?" when she said, "Jump"
You don't get championship coaches every day, and when you do, you better hang on to them.

We let her go because she thought a women's basketball coach should run the athletic department.Ghostrider said:We let her go bc she wasn't nice to our AD.Pecos 45 said:
