Our new Assistant Coach comes to Baylor after serving on the staff at the University of Nebraska at Omaha for two years and prior to that in 2023 she was an assistant Coach, not the Head Coach at Gulf Coast State. She is 27 and a graduate of LSU where she played basketball. Undoubtably a rising star that will be an outstanding recruiter. NC made this hire after an extensive nationwide search, I look forward to her success.

This sounds like a very good hire ! Nicki has an older, very experienced staff but she also needs the presence of an up and coming younger coach on the bench and on recruiting trail. Sounds like this young woman fits the bill!

I like this hire.She will be able to relate to and communicate effectively with the team.Heck,she looks young enough to be a practice player coach.

Harris is an interesting hire. Since she played at LSU, wonder if Coach N will assign her to state of Louisiana to recruit against Kim Mulkey and her staff. Kim has pretty much put a fence around Louisiana.

I believe CNC will continue to go after the top players that best fit her system. That said, Louisiana will be a tough nut to crack. We should absolutely knock on all the best players doors wherever they are, including Louisiana AND Texas.

Yes, agree with you, best players available no matter what state. But at the same time, maybe start cracking into Louisiana develop relationships. I have a feeling Kim is gonna retire within 5-6 years due to her age and health issues.
