17,000 packed the house to watch the Aces sweep the Mercury.

We can pretend no one is watching and no one is interested, but we would be defying the obvious evidence.

Every game of the Championship on prime time TV.

Long way to go, to be sure, but recent star power and better media coverage has sparked a fire. Let's all hope it continues to grow, dispite infighting. Ladies and leadership, please don't let greed make you shoot yourselves in the foot at the very time the fan base is exploding.

Odd, the media did not cover the W.N.B.A. well for years because "no one was interested." Obviously. No one was interested because you did not broadcast or cover the games. It was always disingenuous to refuse to promote the sport and then declare no one cared. No one cared because no one knew about the excellent athletes and their talent. Once the media started telling the truth about these ladies a wildfire of interest has been ablaze!

Aja Wilson is off the charts!

She is a force of nature--last night she turned her ankle, got smacked in the face, and didn't miss a beat. Fun to watch her play!
