The SEC has a vendetta against Texas!

They keep making the Longhorns have to play against good teams, rather than skipping the season in favor of a coronation ceremony. Really breaks my heart.

Did he whine like this when he was previously in the SEC with MS State? Cry me a river...

Everybody in the SEC could submit the same gripe. Ole Miss had to open conference playing at #2 TX & #5 OU. Later on they get LSU & SC back to back. LSU opened playing 4 ranked team out of their first 5 games. The Sooners started with 4 ranked teams in a row, #15 MS, #11KY, #5LSU, & 2 SC. They all (especially OU) have just as much reason to gripe as he does.

Unfortunately in 2017 he kicked KM's tail......and that was one that really counted. Kept us out of a FF.

Please, dont remind me.

I was there and watched Morgan William go scorched earth on us for 41 points.

Made worst by the fact that it denied us a chance to go to the Final 4 in our own backyard (Dallas).

That 2017 team was capable of winning it all that year.

Just an absolute shame that those seniors (Nina, The 2 Alexis's, and KK) didn't get a chance to experience at least 1 Final Four.

We were there, too. Vic's daughter got the hot hand as well. Their next game, Morgan got shut down.

Nah. His daughter had a quiet game (5 points).

You're probably thinking of Victoria Vivians, who was on from outside and did damage as well (24 points).

Kalani actually outplayed Teaira McCowan (scored 27 to McCowan's 10).

But it's kind of hard to overcome a career-game from a player who couldn't miss.

Nina Davis had 18 and Alexis Jones had 16 in the losing effort.

We were so close.

We had the ball and a 2-point lead with 45 seconds left, but Alexis Jones's 3 to put the game away was off the mark.

William came down and tied it, and then we couldn't get a bucket in the final seconds and went to OT.

Miss St. had the momentum and simply outplayed us in that extra period.

Brutal way to end the season.

To their credit, Miss St. rode that momentum all the way to the title game - with Morgan William hitting the buzzer beater in the semis to take down UCONN and end their 111-game winning streak.

For some reason, Schaefer didn't play William as much in the title game, and they fell to South Carolina.

Was at that title game, and always thought it odd that the hero the previous 2 games played limited minutes down the stretch with the trophy on the line.

I was in OKC also.I felt our turnovers were a huge difference. We had 17;they had 4.My favorite player Kristy Wallace had 7.

I pay little attention to Texas anymore and try not to give them much thought in any sport. My only interest is in Baylor beating them whenever we play them, thankfully not often these days. I wish we had won in Ft Worth.

Vic is feeling pressure. He's paid real good money to bring a NC team to UT, and this may be his best shot. He won't do better than Booker and Harmon.
