It was the same strategy they used against ISU earlier this season. They gave Jada Williams wide open jump shots from 15' out - and it worked for most of the game. BU still won, but they didn't adjust in the 4th when Williams started making the wide open jumpers and it almost cost BU the win.

I don't hate the strategy as Miles isn't a very good outside shooter. But, they made it too easy for her to get in rhythm without even a hand in the face until the 4th quarter. Once Miles made her first two in the 3rd quarter, CNC should have changed strategies.

Correct. It's a strategy that the math said should work, but it didn't that day and the adjustment didn't come quick enough. Good news we get another shot at them.
