can anybody tell me, why, in the wide, wide world of sports, Baylor has a mediocre, at best, girl's basketball coach that has an overpriced contract that lasts for four more years past this season? let me guess, Mack Rhoades? When will anyone tell our administration that we don't have to bind ourselves into inescapable contracts to achieve mere mediocrity?

The main reason is because the Hall of Fame coach they had took her ball and went home. Anybody they hired to replace her was going to be a downgrade. But "mediocre at best" is not an accurate description of the current coach. She has won a Big 12 Championship (nowhere near mediocre), she has a winning percentage of .764 (nowhere near mediocre), BU has been in the top 4 of the conference every year (1st, 2nd, 3rd, worst year T4th) which is nobody's definition of mediocre. Like I said a downgrade from what they had, but that coach left BU and her fans high & dry with half a team. The new coach took that and won a Big 12 Championship (hardly mediocre even by a fools logic).

Show me where I defended it......I posted my thoughts right after the game ended. BU lost because they shot so poorly. 14% 3FG, 30% FG, 57% FT. Simple. They had a terrible night.
