CNC needs to own it. Critique herself

and who have you named that would realistically replace them? Until we show we are going to support our programs this will happen.

No one cuz she isn't leaving. I like CNC, very likable and a good ambassador for Baylor. I think everyone, including myself, are very frustrated. I also think the vast majority of BU WBB fans with half a brain, know some changes need to be made. At some point, CNC should spell out what those will be. What adjustments will be made going forward. That's what I mean by "owning it".

She will never lay that out for the fans. No accountability...

You may be right. That's exactly what is needed…accountability.

Is anyone really surprised that we ended another season with another ass kicking?

This year was extremely disappointing.

At least last year, we were simply losing one-possession games with bad/questionable coaching decisions.

This year - we were absolutely getting taken behind the woodshed in games. And CNC appeared to have NO clue what she was doing in those games.

Not sure the former AD did us any favors by issuing a contract extension when no one was shopping for CNC. But that is what ADs do at the big schools too, A&M etc.

I think it is a silly argument to say no better coach will be attracted to BU. We have a stellar history and top notch facilities. We need to up NIL. That can be done.

I can only hope CNC, as much as she understands Xs and Os, wakes up to realize she needs a top shelf point guard, needs 2! She also needs two posts with solid hands, body movement, and the ability to dribble at least 20 feet before freezing on the court. She has one new post, hopefully a step up as offensive weapon.

She must build relationships with donors to generate NIL, fund raising is partly on her.

She must admit and own that she struggles to develop individual players and a team. We get worse, others get better. Players are stone cold their senior year. And we don't capitalize on TS's talent. She has flashes of brilliance then plays like she is the only talent on a middle school squad, totally ignoring teammates, creating more turnovers than points.

One more year is all I would give CNC, and to survive she would have to either win the conference championship or go to sweet 16. Reasonable goals.

Those schools also fire their coaches for not performing despite those extensions. That is the difference.

They apparently have the money to do so. We apparently don't. Heck, A&M throws it away as if it were Monopoly money.

Unreal. What entitled bs.. Coach just won 25 games and finished third in league and some out of touch 'fans' think Baylor or anyone will fire her. Stack aggie coach's record next to Collen's (she's still employed with meager buyout). amazing the bs spouted here.

I don't think she can coach either, but firing her is preposterous.

We did not get better as the season progressed. We beat Duike early. Duke got better. We did not. No creativity on offense. By the end of the year any opposing coach who looked at film Knew exactly waht we were going to do. And they read the plays and jumped the passing lanes for quick turn overs and easy points. !!! Our assistant coach form Auburn knows more basketball than she. Hopfully he can school her in the off season.

This here is the inflection point that will determine whether the new AD's "fan first" approach is real or just more smoke and mirrors.
