I am a BU fan. But fair is fair. Bu is ranked ahead of TT in final women's poll. That is not accurate.

1. We play in same conference
2. They beat us every time we played them, anywhere we played them.
3. The second game was not even close, we were blown out.
4. We have more losses than they

Therefore, if head to head means anything, we should swap places. Again, I am a BU fan but just can't make sense of anything trumping 2 head to head games.


No on else will care, but I would be livid if the reverse were true.

I don't disagree. But no one is looking deeply into factors such as "head-to-head" and "good losses vs. bad wins vs. whatever" when they are casting their votes for any team out of the Top 20 in the final poll of the season. They're looking at tournament performance and whatever residual memory they have of the regular season. They are more concerned about hitting the portal and recruiting trails.

TT lost 8 games, including home losses to Iowa St & K. St. Also didn't help that they lost the first game in the Big 12 tournament. And of course it sure didn't help that they lost to LSU by 54. All things considered.

Yes, the tournament spoke very loudly of the quality of the TT team. People remember those things where they may not notice what happens during the season. It's all about how teams are playing at the end.

Tech was a bad matchup to Baylor. Rankings include the entire resume. Can't pick and choose. Baylor was better all around than Tsch. Just didn't handle the pressure well.
