In tracking staff comments about "positional flexibility", might define the following players this way:

Thompson: 2/3 split
Ross: 3/4 split
Nelms: 4/5 split
Johnson: 2/3 split

but not sure that Goryanova will split 1/2 due to height/build based on the way the D zones up the backside

I can see the upside in Kayla, but Kyla is who she is at this point. A huge offensive liability, commits silly/unnecessary fouls, decent shot blocker. She should be much farther along in her progression by now after sitting behind previous starters for 3 years. I'd much rather have had Lety not leave than have Kyla currently on the team. Lety has made some nice progress at Illinois.

There are currently 11 players set for next year's roster.

Don't be surprised for 1-2 more. Don't expect all 15 slots to be filled.

This staff has always been extremely quiet about recruiting. Hard to know if they are still looking at players or not. I know they are very interested in Sira Thienou. No idea if they are still pursuing her or not. I know other teams include TCU are interested in her.

AP with Johnson sidelined with ACL, our roster only includes only 10 participatory players? Am I off? Do you have hopes of Johnson playing full speed? Is there someone else making 11 participatory players that I am missing?

You moved the goal post. Roster (your first word, later changed) includes every player.
And no one knows if Johnson will play until the decision is made. Recovery time 6-12 months.

Thank you for the response. I should have said available roster. I would not put Johnson in that category until she is both cleared to play and demonstrates 95 percent effectiveness, or preferred 100. So for the moment we have 10 available players and, therefore, need at least 2 more for even a pick up game between ourselves. Yes, I know about the boys squad. But there are times when the girls play each other. I'm sure the staff is working hard, but we truly do not yet have a workable roster.
