Beginning with next year's women's NCAA tournament, the top 16 teams will be placed in the bracket in their true ranking regardless of conference affiliation.

Who'd a thought of this novel idea becoming reality?

Probably put in their true ranking AFTER the SEC has been slotted to its best advantage. :-)
