Well, she is a Baylor alum. I remember there was a great deal of interest a couple years ago when she returned to Waco for her jersey to be hung from the rafters.

Cherelle isn't BG's "wife," she's her wife. (Apparently, soon to be ex-wife.)

And while this is tragic, it isn't out of the ordinary. Marriages that experience some extremely traumatic experience (such as the foreign imprisonment of one of the spouses) are at a much higher risk of ending in divorce than those that don't go through such a thing.

I am praying for both of them and their son during this difficult time.

In many ways BG's life journey has numerous valleys. I will not start the list, but I just think she reached her peak when she had to answer to KM. Wout a steady authority, she seemed to derail.
