how odd is it to admit that our big's got outplayed by KSU's big's? Man that just never happens.

Can you all imagine when LC and Smith finally get back closer to 100% and get to play together for a few more games how awesome our team will be....

"We've actually been shooting a lot more threes than that. I think this particular team shoots more threes than any I've ever had.

The opportunity wasn't there to shoot them today. We would come off on ball screens and they would be out there denying the ball. They didn't want us to have ball reversals, so the jumper at the foul line was open all night. Sometimes we'd make some there, and sometimes we'd want to go in there and try to drive on the big girls. Shoot the jumper.

You could just tell both teams were fatigued today. It was a struggle. It was like at a snail's pace and missed layups, fouling, just one of those games. I can only speak for my program, but it won't go down as a game you want to go back and show highlights. You might go back and teach. We found a way to win, and that's hard to do."

That was one of the ugliest games I've seen from the Lady Bears in a couple of years. The shooting was just horrendous. The energy just didn't seem to be there. However, I agree with others on this board that the refs just seemed determined to not call ANY fouls on KSU on our drives to the basket. Still, if we had closed out the 4th quarter, it could've been a 30 point win. As it was, though, KSU missed a 3 when they were down only 10 that could've made it very interesting...

And then the men played against 1-8 OSU...at home. Locked in a dog fight in the final minute, at that time they were 12-25 from the FT line. Unbelievable.
