That is how I feel. I've been holding back my emotions on this one until it's actually official. Lady Bears basketball has been such a major part of my life the last 20+ years. I am just so sad and heartbroken by this news. I am a Lady Bear fan and always will be. I don't know all the details, but I know Kim didn't leave just to go back home to Louisiana. There was trouble with Mack at Baylor and LSU struck while the iron was hot. Mack Rhoades has some explaining to do and I don't want to hear political BS -- I want the truth.

With all of that said, I am still a Kim Mulkey fan. I have NEVER routed for another university in my life. But you can best believe I am now a Lady Tiger basketball fan -- that is just how much respect I have for Kim Mulkey. Some will attack me for that -- I don't care. It is possible to be both a Lady Bear and LSU WBB fan at the same time. I still just can't believe this is happening. This isn't how this was supposed to end.

I'm going to go for a drive and turn the sad music way up and finally let these emotions that are building up inside of me out now and probably cry myself dry and into a headache. Just in SHOCK that Mulkey is gone.

She will have LSU as one of the elite women's basketball programs in just a few years.

Sorry I can't completely agree on the rooting for LSU. Having watched Mulkey over the years, I have no doubt she played a role in this. There are times to be bull-headed and there are times to realize you owe some amount of patience for the sake of people like the OP who have supported you for years, even when times were not as good. If it boils down to someone telling you something and not being able to come through because circumstances have changed, well, you really need to get out in the real world. There comes a point where being too much of being a drama queen is just too much. There are also times from the administration side when you put up with things you don't like because the performance is too great a benefit to your organization. I think both sides failed on this.

But we need the true facts to come out....from both sides.....and not being in conflict....you know, the truth.

It may not take that long. With the transfer market in full swing, she can load a roster in a year. She has done it here and will do it there.

We (Baylor Family) have all been thru so much. Let's not destroy ourselves again from within. Pursue gratitude - WE WERE SO BLESSED TO HAVE KIM FOR 21 years!!!! Wasn't that Teaff's tenure? All good things eventually end. Let's wish Kim the very best, support our current players & pray for Gods mercy on all.

Don't need to. Mack and Ladyprez are doing a fine job without our help.

I remember Craig James telling me to my face that RG3 would never win the heisman back in 2011 and laughing.

Then ESPN destroyed him because he ran as a Republican.

This sucks. There's no getting around it. The worst part is, it didn't have to end like this. There's no "good guy" in this story, only various degrees of baddies.

I wish Kim the best going forward. I'll miss having her on our sidelines. For my money, there is no one better.

This is my strong suspicion. Situation like this almost invariably requires multiple people behaving badly.

So much drama. Be calm.

I'm a Baylor fan, not a Kim fan. I don't wish her ill, but at this point she's no longer relevant. Excited to see where we go.

All coaches have a shelf life. Don't get so attached to things/people that don't love you back. Love God and your family. This is not a big deal.

Thanks for putting that up! Every bit as good if not better than the one I put up earlier! What great memories we all have of the Mulkey years at Baylor! She did so much for so many in a multitude of ways...lifted us up when we needed it most..THAT can never be measured nor repaid in kind....Geaux CKM !
