I am guessing the process is taking longer than we had hoped because of Big 12 meetings. Mac is (and has been) focused on the meeting as he is "the leader of the pack" for the revised league.

I know one personally who might take it in a heartbeat. But Baylor fans would not like his age....61. ....at one time he openly stated the Baylor job was his dream job but that was when Smitty had been at the helm for several years....

Seriously? Van Horn is and has been a great coach who consistently wins (and 61 isn't a prohibitively old age) but why in the world would he want to leave Arkansas to re-build a BU program that is solidly in the ditch?

61 is only 3 years older than Briles was when we hired him. Put another way that is the age Briles was in the Heisman 2011 turn around year.

I just googled this guy actually. He is an Ark grad so he is not likely the guy or a candidate by his own choice. Interestingly enough though before he played or Ark he spent two years at MCC.
