WACO, Texas – Baylor baseball released its entire 2025 schedule on Thursday, as announced by third-year head coach Mitch Thompson.

The Bears will play 33 of their 54 regular-season games in Waco at Baylor Ballpark, including conference series against Kansas State, Houston, Utah, Arizona State and Oklahoma State. BU will play a combined 13 games against five NCAA Tournament teams and face off against a pair of conference champions from a year ago. Ten 30-game winners headline Baylor’s 2025 campaign, including two squads that won 40 or more games last season.

Notably, 46% of the Bears’ 2025 schedule will feature opponents that finished the 2024 season with a top-75 RPI, including a trio of non-conference opponents in Oregon State, Ohio State and Auburn. Additionally, BU will compete in 13 games against five different teams with a top-40 RPI from 2024.

Baylor is coming off a 22-31 season in which it finished 11th in the Big 12. The Bears are in search of their 22nd all-time trip to the postseason and first since 2019.

BU opens the year with an eight-game homestand against Youngstown State (Feb. 14-16), UTSA (Feb. 18), Gonzaga (Feb. 21-23) and Stephen F. Austin (Feb. 25), before heading to Arlington for Weekend Three of the College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field. The Bears will take on Oregon State (Feb. 28), Ohio State (March 1) and Auburn (March 2) at the home of the Texas Rangers, where Baylor has played six games over the last three seasons.

The green and gold returns home for a five-game stretch in early March to take on Tarleton (March 4), Loyola Marymount (March 7-9) and Sam Houston (March 11) before kicking off conference play at Kansas (March 14-16). Baylor then travels to Texas State (March 18) for its first midweek road contest of the year.

BU welcomes Kansas State (March 21-23) and UT Arlington (March 25) ahead of a trip out west to Arizona (March 28-30), the first of three conference-newcomer foes in 2025.

In April, HCU (April 1) visits Baylor Ballpark before the Bears play a three-game set against Houston (April 4-6). Texas State (April 8) returns a trip to Waco to round out the five-game homestand.

The Bears will travel to Lubbock to square off with Texas Tech (April 11-13) and then go north to see UT Arlington (April 15) before welcoming another Big 12 newcomer in Utah (April 17-19) to Waco. A second home game against HCU (April 22) precedes a rivalry weekend in Fort Worth against TCU (April 25-27).

Baylor hits the road for one last midweek away from home on April 29 at Sam Houston ahead of a seven-game homestand that kicks off the month of May. Conference weekend series against Arizona State (May 2-4) and Oklahoma State (May 9-11) sandwich the final midweek contest of the season versus UTRGV (May 6).

To end the year, BU heads to Orlando, Fla., to face off with UCF (May 15-17), its first trip to the state of Florida since 1998.

The 2025 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship is scheduled for May 21-24 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, with the top 12 teams in the league standings competing in a new single-elimination format. NCAA Regionals will begin the first weekend of June, followed by Super Regionals and the 2025 College World Series, set for June 12-23 from Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Neb.

All series dates and game times are subject to change. Finalized dates and times will be announced by host institutions prior to the start of the season.
