Interesting way to end the All Star Game. I liked it.

I fell asleep and missed it. I do very much like that the game means something in terms of home field advantage in the WS. I too like the innovative solution. You only have some many arms on each side.

I'm a bit a stats nerd and I was wondering how the "swing off" showed up in the box score. As far as I can tell it didn't.

If I remember right, it went:
2-1 AL
3-1 NL
O for AL so NL didn't bat in the third.

Fun way to end a tied all star game. Shouldn't decide any other game.

The player's ability to challenge the home plate umpire was cool too. And that probably should become a part of all games.
