Evoldi getting hurt really was the final nail in the coffin; key starters missed tons of games.

Here's what doomed the Rangers.....a combined 10-15 vs the A's and Angels.
The A's went 64-98 while the Angels went 62-100.
At minimum the Rangers should have a winning record (13-12) vs those 2 bottom feeders; more likely much better than that (18-7 or so).

Truth. And they seem to never win the season series vs the Astros, either. Even when they won the world series. They are absolute ass against their own division.

One more non-blown game vs Houston and they are in.

Amazing that as bad as they were in the worst division in MLB that they still had a chance to win the division on the last day of the season
