Part of that is Baylor's leadership ****ting the bed. No serious football program would still employ Dave Aranda. Baylor advertised to the world last November that they weren't serious about football when Linda announced she was keeping Dave. NIzl has hurt programs like Baylor. Baylor has also did a fine job of hurting themselves by keeping literally incompetent coaches

This is bad loss. Great kid and a very good player/teammate. As I understand she is retiring.

Charleigh is a really good kid! But move makes sense. She was an exceptional travel ball player but I've heard she had to deal with a few difficult things off the field which has greatly impacted her as a player. Sounds like she and Coach Moore made this decision together based on what's best for her as a person. Wishing her the best.

The hope now is that Coaches Fuller and Fuller will do a great job as coaches. The bigger hope is that the program can bring in impactful talent and if no NIL money is the reality that will be an extreme uphill battle in today's transfer portal environment. The AD needs to show that they value the program and give them a little money. Not sure if one of the known donors is willing to write checks if there is no tangible recognition associated with it (e.g. named stadium, named batting facility, etc).
