Baylor hits the track for the first time in ten months to open the indoor season at the Corky Classic in Lubbock. The Bears will join host Texas Tech, Texas, Arizona, Angelo State, Abilene Christian, West Texas A&M, Lubbock Christian and Wayland Baptist in the meet that honors the legendary late Tech track coach and BBQ savant, Corky Oglesby.

The meet will be streamed live, starting at 11AM CT on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

Thanks for the update, Malbec. I rely on you, jumpinjoe and Garland Bear to keep the information coming about the thin clads wearing the Green and Gold. It has been a real drought over there at the Clyde Hart complex and I have really missed it.

There's a meet thread over on Premium. Holy javelins Batman! We are really gonna have some kind of women's team the next few years.

KC Lightfoot has broken all the Baylor PV records today. He's over in the MPV at 19' 5 3/4" and is now attempting 19' 8 1/4".

Until I saw this thread I didn't know I could watch the meet on Plus. I started and saw the final miss by KC. I'll try to watch on demand later.

KC Lightfoot's 19' 5 3/4" (5.94m) is a new Collegiate Indoor Record.

Congrats to the greatest indoor college pole vaulter in history! Sic 'em KC!

And he can be thankful that Mondo went pro after one season at LSU.
