On paper their strengths are in the pitching circle. But that is currently a problem. Rodoni is nothing like she has been in the past. (Pritchitt) Binford can't find any consistency and she appears to be pressing when she is at the plate. M. Judich is way too much down the middle without any ball movement in and out. Only Mansell seems to be throwing the way you would expect her to and needs to start on Sunday.

Coach Moore seems to think this team has more power at the plate and they may be eventually, but not at the moment.

This team reminds me of last years team. They began to get better just before the covid break. Let's hope That
happens.

Yeah, I've been disappointed in pitching, too. Thought we'd best out after whole year to work on fine tuning, but I just don't see the fire and passion, at the moment. Maybe it will be like an engine having to get warmed up after a long cold spell. Want to see a team with fire and joy. Right now, pitchers look like they are going through the motions. I suspect the loss of Coach Lumley is weighing on them a bit, too. Greiving that loss will take some time.

Today against Miss. State I saw a totally different team. Very focused and hitting the ball well. Mansel was very good against a murderer's lineup of hefty gals. Gia looked like Gia today as well. We didn't have any homers and still scored 10 runs. Miss State only scored from Homers.

I think this team will be OK.....just gotta give em' a little patients.

My concern. I know its early in the season but according to Big 12 stats, we are #5 with a .295 average. We are just above Kansas with their .287. We are last in the Big 12 with a 4.20 Era, in the circle . I worried that we are on the road to repeat the 2019 season with hitting. ( we were missing Lumley,that year as well) .

One of the freshman pitcher recruits isn't on the roster, anymore. I heard that she was pretty good.

Wonder what's up with that?
