it is interesting that from July 2020 to June 2021 there were about 470k deaths and from July 2021 to June 2022 there have been 410k deaths. Meanwhile there were ~33 million cases in the first 16 months of the Pandemic (through June 30 2021) and there have been ~55 million cases in the last 12 months, the majority occurring in the past 6 months. I selected June 30, 2021 as that is about the time the US reached ~50% fully vaccinated in the population.
