A person opened fire at Dallas Love Field yesterday, but it does not seem to be the focus of a national conversation on guns. In fact, it seems largely memory holed. Has it been all over cable news in discussions around the need for new gun laws?

Repeat offenders aren't the target, though. The target of gun laws is the law abiding citizen.

Waukesha story died pretty quick on mainstream media after they learned that the killer was black supremacist. Hell, Biden never went down there after parade killing.

But be realistic, if the shooter was a white male, the MSM would be all over everywhere screaming about gun control

Someone taking shots at a Major Airport is national news. Unless it isn't.

Police responded well and stopped her immediately, even without killing her.

But, if this had been a "conservative" white male, it would be all over the news, as it should have been.

You just don't shoot up an airport. Thankfully it was stopped immediately.

I had friends in Georgia asking me about it. The only place I had seen it was on Daily Mail Online. I had to go to the DMN to find something about it.

Like many shooters, she has some serious mental issues and should be in a facility.

CNN had about 10 hysterical abortion stories and QAnon conspiracies as well as a few t'racism stories ... but a shooting at an airport did not warrant nary a mention. I assume this got a couple days play on the View? Or maybe they're not concerned about guns or gun violence anymore.

This was the headline on Fox News.

Its a crazy woman shooting the roof at a regional airport. IMO it got way more coverage than it deserves. There was video coverage of the woman, the officers, the woman getting shot. The discussed the womans past, her mental illness, her claim to be married to James I Feel good Brown. They had multiple pics of her. They talked about everything except how easy it is for a crazy woman with a history to get a gun and ammo.
