From what I've been told pay is not the issue.


Being stationed in horrible, out of the way **** hole locations is what causes many BP agents to transfer into other federal jobs .

I am no longer eligible based on my viejo status. Years ago, they used to have a billboard at the Sarita Border Patrol check station on SH77 that said "If you are 39 years old or younger, we want you!". I wonder if they have raised the age limit due to the mass exodus of agents?
