Policies Matter in Real Life
1. Should the government sit in the doctor's office with pregnant women? Should the government force a pregnancy to term?
2. The GOP keeps raising your property taxes by cutting taxes at State level and kicking it down to local governments which strangles poor districts.
The wealthy in Texas are not paying their fair share
3. The GOP has cut protective services for children.
4. The GOP puts more guns into juvenile hands with immature minds. It makes our world more dangerous.

We are the government by the people so vote Democratic for a government for the people.

"Pregnancies aren't "forced to term" by anyone. As a general rule, they naturally end with birth after a fairly predictable timeframe. It is possible to force them to end by killing the unborn human offspring that is required for a pregnancy to exist, but it is not possible to "force them to term."

The idea that the GOP is raising property taxes demonstrates a fundamental misunderstanding of how property taxes work in Texas. Skyrocketing home prices are the biggest driver of property taxes. Our rates have not gone up, it is our home values that have gone up. And when that happens you pay more in property tax. And one of the main reasons our property taxes have got up is because of the influx of people from blue states. They can buy much cheaper homes in Texas or at least could in the past then in the blue states they live.

Could a state income tax drive down property taxes? Of course. But that'll only increase taxes and the tax burden on everyone, and not just the rich. I know you Democrats haven't found a tax you didn't like, but you might take a look at states like California New York and Oregon to see the disaster that these taxing policies have been.

I'm shocked in 2022 there are still such open racists that eugenics and controlling black and brown breeding is the most important thing to them.

Waco47 made choices in life that has left him envious of those

He is hardly alone in such feelings . There are millions just like him . From my experience most such individuals vote Democrat in the hope they will collect a few crumbs .

3. I'm a retired (2022) school employee. How do you want the GOP to protect rural schools? What's hurting rural schools?
4. The only way to pay teachers more is to raise taxes. Most voters oppose that…if fact you cited in your original post that higher taxes are the cause of the GOP. Guess how schools are funded? Yep, property taxes.

The people do not have a right to tell a women what to do medically. Too many complications around pregnancy

2. You don't understand taxes. Property taxes are local, not state. Each local entity sets a tax rate.
You missed the point. The state of Texas funds public education. As the state cut taxes the local ISD must pick up the slack. Poor districts and rural districts cannot keep up

3. Which services did they cut?
Child Rotective Services CNN) A court filing from 16 current and former employees of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, along with the Texas State Employees Union, says the agency is "on the brink of collapse" following the state's decision to investigate the gender-affirming care of minors as potential child abuse.

The brief cites a "string of departures" within the agency since the directive was put in place in February, arguing remaining workers will be spread dangerously thin.

The amicus curiae (Friend of the Court) brief was filed with the state's Third District Court of Appeals, which is considering whether the policy, prompted by an opinion from Attorney General Ken Paxton and ordered by Gov. Greg Abbott, was implemented legally. The governor and DFPS are appealing the March decision of a district court judge in Austin that put enforcement of the policy on hold. In May, the Texas Supreme Court ruled that DFPS could continue investigating families suspected of seeking out gender-affirming care while the case is appealed. At the time, DFPS confirmed that some nine families were under investigation.

As DFPS case workers quit, those remaining are forced to do more work, the court filing says. They further allege that the agency has been unable to meet its "baseline of care" for years, and that the state's policy on transgender children has "driven it to a new nadir." The filing also argues the directive was enacted illegally because the state did not go through the required formal process to create a new policy. The state has argued it did not need to do so because the directive is an interpretation of existing policies, not a new rule.
4. The GOP doesn't put guns in anyone's hands. Guns are purchased legally or stolen.
Again you missed the point.mr literal. It's too easy to buy a gun in Texas. AR need to be banned.

And thanks, I will vote for the GOP instead of the fascist Democrats.
