The new Talking Point is to redefine "election denier." Time and time again we see propaganda among the regressive regime media.

The term "election denier" has taken on a particular meaning, however, after Trump's failed re-election campaign. The phrase has come to be associated with Republicans who claim the 2020 election was stolen from Trump, assert without evidence there was fraud in 2020 voting, and cast doubt on secure voting systemsclaims that lead to the deadly January 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Calling Jeffries an "election denier' is misleading and conflates different issues. "Casting unfounded doubt on the outcome of an election is irresponsible when either party does it," says Rachel Orey, associate director of the Elections Project at the Bipartisan Policy Center, a nonpartisan Washington think tank. "But I think it's important to remember that the culture around elections was quite different before 2020."

Barack Obama- 69 million votes

Joe Biden- 81 million votes

Ummmm....no. Not a snowball's chance in Hell.

Yes, I am an election denier. The integrity of our elections has been maybe destroyed beyond repair. The Dems are laughing their asses off because they now know that nobody is going to stop them.

I don't doubt there was some fraud, but I think the number of votes for Biden can be attributed to three things, for the most part: 1) millions more registered voters in 2020 than there were in 2012; 2) Trump was one of the most unpopular and polarizing candidates in history, and the media did such a good job of stirring the pot that they turned out record voters against Trump; 3) ballot harvesting. None of these things is necessarily fraud.

even if the GOP rolled out the most perfect candidate ever…I still don't see him surpassing 81M votes.

If the public is that stupid we're absolutely screwed.

Again, the issue is not the 2020 election but the regressive media once again redefining a term - inflation anyone - so the same behavior applies to only one group.

The public is that stupid and country is most definitely screwed .
And the process began decades ago .

Beginning with LBJ 's Great Society legislation. Followed by Ted Kennedy's immigration 'reform' and finally the election Barrack Hussein Obama .

The worst presidential racist since Woodrow Wilson .

Add to all that the left's deliberate dumbing down of the electorate through our education system that's been going on since LBJ's time and here we are.

Every republican that runs will get the Trump treatment, so that passion is here to stay. If Desantis runs, they will scream that he's the next Hitler and the same people who voted for Biden will vote for whatever democrat runs. In fact, they might even get more votes against Desantis with increased ballot harvesting.

Joe Biden is hands down the worst president in modern history and dems did well in midterms. Their messaging is working very well and people are buying into it. The messaging is so powerful that if democrats cause a problem, they can easily blame the GOP and drive that narrative to the majority.

While I agree with you that the Republican will get Trump treatment, an important distinction is that DeSantis will not serve them up the fodder that Trump does. Unlike Trump, DeSantis is smart, has a filter, and can control his worst impulses. He's not going to do the incredibly stupid things and make the asinine statements that Trump does on a daily basis. The lack of material will make it much more difficult for the legacy media to demonize him the way they've demonized Trump,

Agreed

But almost any Republican nominee would play a smarter game than Trump .

Our whole two party system relies on that dynamic.

Few people go into the ballot box to vote for their Party…they go in to vote against the other party.

I have yet to meet a liberal who loves Joe Biden and thinks he is the best choice for President in the USA.

And I have not met many Conservatives who were enthusiastic about Bob Dole or Mitt Romney.

Answering you and Doc in the same reply. Party loyalists on both sides will follow regardless of candidate. And I agree that many media outlets will demonize whatever candidate the Republicans run. The sway area is that 10-15% of Independents/middle of the road/Non partisans that make or break elections. They have shown to go either way in elections, especially in tight key states. That is where Trump's toxicity harms him more than many prior Republican candidates. Especially now.
