18-44
Luke is, by far, the most popular character-Leia is 4th
Darth Vader is more popular than Rey from the new movies
Leia is the most popular with women or the over 45 crowd
Men are 2x as likely to be avid fans than women

A lead character being female is essentially asking for a flop. I am 100% confident Disney knows the demographics and am 100% confident they have seen what happens to these female led action films. It's fiscally irresponsible to continue producing them but they can't seem to stop themselves.

Not really…I'll be honest post the 2nd trilogy I thought all of those movies sucked. Frankly, I'm not even a huge fan of the prequels. They could have stopped at 3 and I would have been fine.
