In the last couple days, we've had:
* stabbings around a college campus
* what appears to be an intentional act of mass homicide by driving into a crowd

The weapons being used are numerous. Law abiding people wishing to arm and protect themselves and their families is a logical reaction to the lawlessness we are seeing on a mass scale in the last few years.
We all know racial division has been stoked for the last decade, and division centered around sexual identity is the new cause du jour. No wonder we are seeing hate crimes being committed as a result. Why don't we start with an expectation of law and order and promote reconciliation with one another rather than stoking further divisions? Identity politics is toxic.
