Not exactly accurate, since a "jury of one's peers" is a legal term of art that describes the jury in a criminal trial. Nevertheless, does it further confirm that Trump is a morally compromised individual? Of course.
I don't doubt that something happened between them, but what we know from the trial is Carroll is not saying stuff that is entirely accurate, and apparently hasn't from the get-go. She essentially lied about being raped. This appears to have been nothing more than a groping session - one in which Carroll agreed to model lingerie for Trump in the dressing room of a department store. Was it unwanted? Perhaps. We will never know. But inviting someone into a dressing room and agreeing to model lingerie for them damages her credibility that this was unwanted.
Of course, Trump had the opportunity to defend himself in person, and chose not to do so. I suspect he doesn't want to go under oath, as he knows something happened between them, and of course, if it did, he would be committing perjury if he made some of the statements he's made to the press about Carroll. Like I said, he's a POS.
