Keeping little Joey from Scranton in the basement 4 years ago worked. We witnessed very little of his dementia, lying, sniffing little kid's hair, tripping & stumbling, mumbling, bumbling clown show. Keeping him locked away worked.

Trump has a bad habit of letting his alligator mouth overload his hummingbird @$$. His grossly inflated ego causes him to talk like a 6th or 7th grader trying to poke fun of playground rivals. I also think DeSantos and Ramaswamy will cause him to short circuit.

Maybe Trump needs to take a page out of Biden's coloring book?

I see some flaws in that theory.

First, Joe 'Hair-Sniffing' Biden got away with hiding in the basement, because the media did his campaigning for him. They would not do that for Trump.

Second, I thought we wanted the best possible GOP nominee for President. By that logic, if Trump is going to implode, better he does that in the Primaries, n'cest pas?

Biden Campaign strategy for 2020: Make sure Joe Biden spends 100% of his time in the basement.
Biden Campaign strategy for 2024: Make sure Donald Trump spends 100% of his time in court.

He's polling way higher than everyone else but the reasons are the opposite of what most people think.

Most people believe saying the generic things and acting cordial will generate respect and likeability which will increase your popularity, but in today's political environment it's the complete opposite.

Hatred from almost all media, the establishment and lefties who dominate entertainment signals to a MASSIVE portion of the public that Trump's their enemy and he's their ally. The media/DC presents him as a threat and people want a threat against the establishment. They're that fed up with the system.

Trump is a byproduct of a government that is failing to govern and becoming abusive.

The more Trump runs his mouth, pisses them off and is targeted...the more popular he gets. The media could end Trump by ignoring him, but they're too stupid to understand this concept.

I'm not endorsing Trump, just stating the mechanism at play here.

Incorrect...Trump is not a product of the media or govt. He is nothing more than a product of his own narcism , thin skin, lying ways, bulling, cheating, philander ect. It's all on him being just an ass.

All true.

But Dems love the guy.

Trump unites their party like no one else.
