A friend of mine believes it's a death knell for Democrats. I am not sure about that. He could definitely steal centrist Democrats but I think only about 50 are still alive today. I think some of his views will appeal to Republicans who don't want to deal with the chaos of Trump.
If the choice is Biden, Trump and him, he will definitely get serious consideration from me.

For me, it hinges on Trump's pick for VP. He needs to think about a succession plan for 2028. Should he pick DeSantis, Haley, or Tim Scott, I will vote for trump. If he makes a polarizing crazy ass MAGA pick like Kari Lake or Marjorie Taylor Greene, all bets are off. I would give RFK, Jr. or Joe Manchin a serious look.
