I had the misfortune of getting stuck in Swift traffic cause I didn't realize she had a concert going on. Watching the kids racing down the sidewalks and crossing the roads to get to her venue, it was amazing how monolithic the demographic was going to the concert.

Generally wealthy, white, young, likely from conservative HH's more often than not. Swift better be glad there are so many conservative well to do "daddies" out there, or she couldn't get these silly prices for her tickets.

I don't think the GOP is scared of either. Republicans generally love Swift, and generally have more sane views on the lgbtq agenda than Democrats.

It bears repeating that Republicans were only about 10 years behind Democrats in accepting the legality of gay marriage. To lump in the gay agenda with the mutilating children agenda is so bizarre that anyone caught doing it shouldn't be taken seriously.

I'm very happy for her. And her billion dollar bank account. I'm happy her husband is some stud muffin NFL player. Whoever he is. If he's okay with being Mr. TS, more power to him.

As a conservative person, I don't fear her. She concerns me though. Because she has an endless audience who she influences. And in my beliefs her political views hurt people more than they help people. And her message is getting out there to a bunch of impressionable young people who are such idealists they don't understand the world. And won't for some time. Some will never grow out of it over guilt or whatever. They believe in enabling over empowering. And that just doesn't work for the long run.

I know Republicans aren't perfect in everything, but I live in California and see firsthand what Democrat policies do to people. Especially the poor and lower middle class (and even middle class!).

The people who Governor Hair Gel panders to the most are those who can afford him the least.

Outrageous gas prices. Try filling up your truck that transports construction or gardening materials in a gas guzzling truck. But oh, that's right. Governor Hair Gel wants everyone in an electric vehicle by 20__. That will work well for the immigrants he's inviting in freely and free of charge. They should have no problem putting their lawnmowers in the back of a Tesla. (Well, I guess they can buy the $100,000 Tesla truck). Until then they can pay the worst gas prices, by far, in the country.

And housing? That's real affordable. Including apartments. Real affordable.

And the increase in minimum wage which has driven up the cost of food but has also ended up in people getting fewer hours or laid off completely. Well done. Great for people trying to make a new life here.

Businesses leaving the state. That will help.

Now.....for all of her privileged and upscale fans...no problem. They'll be just fine. They won't care anymore about what their vote does to the underprivileged anymore than TS does.

It's another story for those who are her fans and don't come from those same backgrounds. Or those who are not her fans and yet ultimately hurt by her influencing of younger people who don't have a clue how much they are really hurting people by voting like Taylor does.

The Dems are the party of enabling. They'll give you stuff. And many in this country, both citizens and not, take them up on it. But they end up going nowhere in the end. Ten years from now they're still right where they were ten years before. And the libs are tickled pink. They have them right where they want them. And their votes. And always will.

Again, many gays are not into the trans agenda. To conflate the 2 makes no sense. And yes gays mostly have the same rights as straight people. They would argue that there are a few issues concerning their kids, access to medical records and decisions, that they are still bothered by.

My point is still the same. I don't understand why the OP lumps Taylor Swift into the lbgtq3+ agenda, and I am still making the point that that is not the same as the gay agenda, which has been largely accomplished.
