'He did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended ("if it was 2013 - when did I stop being Vice President?"), and forgetting on the second day of the interview when his term began ("in 2009, am I still Vice President?"),' he reportedly said.

'He did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died.'

He was also apparently hazy on the debate around withdrawing troops from Afghanistan, which was such a key part of the first months of his presidency.

'We also expect many jurors to be struck by the place where the Afghanistan documents were ultimately found in Mr. Biden's Delaware home: in a badly damaged box in the garage, near a collapsed dog crate, a dog bed, a Zappos box, an empty bucket, a broken lamp wrapped with duct tape, potting soil, and synthetic firewood,' the report concludes.

Quote:

Photographs in the report include some of the classified Afghanistan documents, showing how they were apparently stored with other household items, including a ladder and a wicker basket.

The investigation said there was plenty of evidence to suggest that Biden was aware that he was not allowed to keep classified handwritten notes after leaving office, pointing out that his long Washington career meant he was familiar 'with the measures taken to safeguard classified information and the need for those measures to prevent harm to national security.'

Even so, notebooks crammed with classified information were stored in unlocked drawers at his home.
And it was not simply the case that the notebooks were misplaced and forgotten.

'He consulted the notebooks liberally during hours of discussions with his ghostwriter and viewed them as highly private and valued possessions with which he was unwilling to part,' writes Hur.

This is where the Biden replacement begins.

The question is, who?

It's pretty embarrasing on a global/national standard that this is the best the U.S. has to offer.

It describes his failure to remember key dates in his career and his personal life when he was interviewed by investigators.

'He did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended ("if it was 2013 - when did I stop being Vice President?"), and forgetting on the second day of the interview when his term began ("in 2009, am I still Vice President?"),' he reportedly said.

This stuff is not a surprise. It is exactly what he does almost every time he is allowed to speak. He doesn't remember. It's like when he didn't know of all of his grandchildren. He literally doesn't remember them all.

One of the reasons they decided not to press charges was because 'at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory'.

His 'diminished faculties in advancing age' would likely make him a sympathetic figure to jurors, the report says.
The bottom line here is, that they do not really consider Biden competent enough to stand for trial. So he would get a pass. I don't like Harris, but it is time for her to be appointed president by the means of the 25th Amendment.

What a miserable choice in 2024. Two ageing men, both with mental issues. One who struggles with dementia and is a tool of the very far left progressives. The other struggles with decency and is a tool playing to the fake Christian movement like Paxton and Patrick.

Yes. I have to think the Dems use this damning report (perhaps the most damning of his presidency) to pressure him to step aside. Or they force it on him, if he doesn't.

Very doubtful at this point he will be the nominee.

Things are about to get very interesting...I predicted Newsom would step in and be the nominee, but he's so unlikable, I now wonder if it will be Michelle.

They should shake everything up and nominate RFK jr but they'll probably do something stupid like nominate Hillary or Kamala.

I would vote for that ticket over Trump.

But you're right - it will be another awful candidate. It just won't be Biden. He gone.

There is nothing earth shaking in Hur's report.

Dem power brokers knew damn well Biden was mentally impaired in 2020 when they destroyed Ol Bernie' s campaign and handed the nomination to Biden. But Biden could deliver the black vote in the general election and Bernie couldn't .

That an obvious dementia sufferer serving as POTUS has been protected by 90% of the national media is the biggest DC cover up since Woodrow Wilson's catastrophe stroke during his 2nd term.

Which is odd as he's the 2nd most racist democrat president of the last 40 years
