I don't know her or her husband. He is wearing a Baylor shirt which caught my eye. She is a Baylor grad. Don't even know the story behind this. Coffee County, GA isn't far from where I grew up. So curious.

Anyone know the story?

That photo looks like it was taken at McLane. Wish them the best.

Hopefully they didn't do anything illegal.

Latham is accused of allowing unauthorized forensics experts from SullivanStrickler to examine voting systems within Coffee County for an extended period. It's believed that those experts illegally downloaded data from the Dominion voting machines on the behalf of Trump as Latham and others watched.

so this is one they prosecute..

Are they prosecuting the ones that admitted in court that they illegally
shredded documentation and erased documentation that must be kept for two years in violation of Georgia law?

I can see why they are not prosecuting though, they had a good reason. The reason was nobody stopped us. It's in the court transcripts.

Sorry, I can't answer your question. I know nothing about her or the case. I just used google to see why she was charged. Pasted it for information.

There is an apt and well-used adage: If you can't do the time, don't do the crime. Goes for anyone. Even a BU grad. This especially goes for Mar a Lago boy who put this whole mess into play and has taken a lot of other folks with him. And I hope HE gets to cool his jets in prison. Very, very soon.

As a read about her, it reminded me of when I was in college. The company I worked for hired an undercover as an employee who tried to "entice" us to do illegal stuff.

I feel sorry that she was used by people who knew better and have greater resources to defend themselves. Hopefully, she can cut a deal and move on.

Read her indictment. It spells out what she did wrong. She didn't just idly stand by. She actively gave them illegal access to voting machines. She's responsible for her actions, even if she was duped into following along like so many others.

so not much different than those that destroyed election data.. i await their trials as they admitted it in court testimony.

She broke the law and should be tried for it. No arguement there..

Bigger picture- Selective prosecution of crimes related to 2020 strikes again

Isn't giving people illegal access to voting machines exactly what you guys railed on about? But when Repubs do it they are victims for being repubs? Please.

biggest difference is illegal access during an election and illegal access after an election. Context matters.

Its stupid that states use machines that arent theirs and cant review forensically. The county election official broke the law when she allowed somebody to look at the voting machines because the state of Georgia did not own them, and it violated their contract.

Why is the state using voting equipment that they don't own and have no control over?

I miss paper ballots. iD verification. Election Day, - not Election month. And the votes were counted in 24 hours and we had a winner.

I agree voting today sucks. And having an ID is just common sense.
