You call it silly. I have posted several articles that claim otherwise. If we can both find articles to support our opinion maybe its about a tie. Alcohol has done much more damage to my family ( my youngest bro.) and people I know. I cant understand your acceptance and support of one and desire to execute someone for selling the other.

Don't care to convince you of anything.

I see the damage of narcotics every single day .

I see the damage to our peoples standard of living with these open borders every single day.

Have long realized you are incapable of recognizing either problem.

No doubt due to some kind of personal gratification.
Trying to say the long list of "narcotics" are worse than alcohol really shows you actually don't understand the problem.

Anyone who attempts to justify the legislation of LSD, meth, crack, speed, heroin or other hard narcotics by comparing them to the toxicity of alcohol is either a fool , is a drug user, or has never visited the mental ward of their local hospital .

Other than the rare Coors Light , I don't drink.

However I am aware alcohol can be abused . Yes alcoholics exist in significant numbers .

But the concept of increasing the availability of hard narcotics by legalizing them is simply stupid and destructive in the extreme.
Totally agree. Having legislation to baby sit us is for fools.

If you wish to use heroin , meth, LSD or crack…..be my guest.

Such enlightened behavior will prove your innate superiority over the rest of your family.

You don't even realize that is the opposite of what you want. You don't want me to use it. Maybe a little LSD would increase your critical thinking ability.

Why do you throw LSD in that list? It doesnt belong grouped in with addictive dangerous drugs.

Thank you for the correction.

Its not a matter of which drugs are bad. The world is full of danger. Its a matter of freedom. Should a fat person be allowed to eat wedding cake?

Some people yearn for a nanny state.
I have found theres only two ways to go:
Living fast or dying slow.
I dont want to live forever.
But I will live while I'm here.

I think there is a line, though. Look at Portland and Seattle. Both decriminalized drugs entirely and they have people living in vans or on the streets zonked out on fentanyl and tranq like a bunch of zombies. A normal functioning society doesnt let zombies crap and shoot up in the streets. There needs to be a line where people have personal freedoms but they dont get to live in the streets like its India. I did hear that Seatlle and perhaps Portland are walking back their policies bc its leads to violence and an all around terrible city.

I agree. Vagrancy should not be tolerated whether is is caused by alcohol, drugs, or mental illness.

One need look no further than Portland, OR for the dangers associated with decriminalizing dangerous drugs. It has seen an exponential increase in crime - and in particular, deadly assaults - since doing so. Portland use to be a great town, and now it's become a complete **** hole, unlivable in areas. We have two families on our street that moved from Portland in the last year as a result.

The idea that it's "pro-freedom" to decriminalize every dangerous drug seems to be a largely naive and ridiculous view of the libertarian crowd that doesn't take into account the unintended (but predictable) consequences of doing so. If anything, decriminalization has made Portland a much less free city. Anarchy isn't synonymous with freedom.

You posted this same kind of idiocy in regards to Covid right before you went to Mexico in the middle of the epidemic.

Then you got deadly ill with it.

By your own admission you thought you might have died of the infection if it wasn't for the diligent care of a local 'girlfriend'.

Whom , of course you dumped as soon as your conscience would allow.

Amusing to see how quickly you have returned to the same BS.

Meanwhile thousands of others are dying of overdoses, exposure , malnutrition, and violence . But oh yeah …..nanny state .

Covid was a psychological operation? Wow, there sure are a lot of dumb people out there.
The Chinese started COVID to cripple their economy while concurrently forgetting to have a vaccine developed...
Not true. Covid was in animals in a wet market in China. It was not man made.
