Clearly there has to be a biological test. XX should be the standard. We don't have to play the whataboutisms. The rules don't have to be so inclusive that they effectively become meaningless. No, ones sex of gender is a biological, scientific fact. There are clear ways it can be known: chromosomes, as as ms apple, genitalia. That's not true. The IBA had rules but they weren't clear. They never explained why the two ladies failed the test (leaving us all to speculate) and are said (I don't know) to be a really corrupt organization.

I'm not assuming anything except that there was some teat that provided real data. Again, the trans ideology is not based upon science or anything real.

The athlete in question is labeled "trans" which is a synonym for fake. They won't admit it, but trans "women" are actually men. If this guy is a trans woman, we have no reason to believe he's anything but a man.

Unfortunately, men in Muslim countries often also have no problems with physically abusing women. And sharia laws impose a significant level of abuse. I don't know how much sharia exists in Algeria but it's almost certainly more than in France. A few things here.
1. The results of those tests weren't published, so in essence, I could say I tested Jack Bauer and discovered she is a female despite her claims he is a he. I won't let you see the results. I will just tell you what they were. Release the results so we can see exactly what this test said.
2. And in its statement, the IOC made it clear the boxers met all the rules necessary to compete at the 2024 Olympic Games. Well now this complicates things. One boxing entity says she's a he. The Olympics say she is a she. Who in the world should I believe? Why?
3. As noted several times in this thread, it is possible to be XY and still be female. It doesn't happen often, but there are at least two things listed on this thread that could make that happen. Agree with the first two points and agree this is a difficult dilemma. But your last statement is factually incorrect. It is not possible to be XY and be female. XY is always male, scientifically speaking. Now, could he have an undeveloped or female looking set of genitals? Yes but if he's XY he is male.

This is a difficult one with no easy answers until we know for sure the results of his genetic test.
