That Asian-Americans massively outperform their proportion of the population. Good for them. Affirmative action discriminated against them which is ironic given they are a minority of the population.

With affirmative action they were discriminating against Asians and boosting the number of Blacks.
Basically what everyone knows has been going for decades in College admissions at the elite level.

Their cultural norm is high expectations for their kids and they get on their ass for shortcomings. It's something that's looked down upon by many Americans but is absolutely necessary for our children to reach good outcomes.

Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?
Another point is people are/were identifying as multiple ethnicities. 112% (add all categories) for the 2027 data and 101% in the 2028. It would appear that as racial preference dropped as a factor of import, people didn't feel the need to stretch their ethnic credentials.
The conclusion depends on whether or not you've read the book "The Bell Curve".
If you haven't, you would think that they have switched to merit based admissions. If you have, you realize that they are still practicing affirmative action, but just let up on the gas enough to give themselves cover.
