We've heard Kamala Harris answer almost every question asked to her that she grew up as a middle class kid. But did she? Here is an article from 3 years ago (away from this election cycle) that would say otherwise...

Both parents had Doctorates one was a Professor at Stanford, the other a Research Scientist.

Not classically middle class. Dad wasn't a truck driver and mom wasn't a waitress or anything.
By the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved.

I think when you have private school in your background along with living in wealthy areas you are no longer "middle class".

Upper middle. Bussed across town. Single mother
I have found theres only two ways to go:
