"And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven." With all respect……it's past time to stop with all the Scripture posting.

Can't speak for anyone else…..but they are so overwhelming I just skip over them.

The title of the thread is clearly labeled. If you are not interested don't click.

It's NEVER a bad time to read and meditate on God's word.

If you wish God's Word to be absorbed by the masses…..moderation is usually helpful.

Just as most folks ignore the guy with a bullhorn.

Most people will ignore what they are uninterested in. Unfortunately, for many that includes scripture. I cannot control that nor do I want to. Each person makes their own choices.

This thread & this board is not a bullhorn. Not in the least.

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you might discern what is the will of God, which is your spiritual worship, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:2

Again, with respect …….

Such a volume of repetitive posting is not effective. After numerous such constant splatterings folks simply skip over them.

So it's safe to say you continue this pattern of posting for your own self gratification.

I have not repeated a single post. Each one is unique.

Again, if you are not interested don't click. It's not meant for those who are uninterested or hostile to scripture. It is intended to inspire. Hence the title of the thread.

I do admit that I find God's word satisfying, even gratifying. That's one reason it exists: for everyone to find comfort and solace.

I refuse to censor God's word under any circumstances.

I am not the one continually posting 4-8 posts in a row.

That is weird by any measure.

Since I often go gif days without posting here that is clearly untrue.

More important, since when is there a limit on how much one can be inspired by God???

Be inspired all you want. But a constant stream almost daily of 3-7 posts in a row ?

Exactly what is the point ? Really think either :

A. Folks are impressed or converted
B. You get an extra jolt of holiness
C. God needs reaffirmation from you

Once in a while a couple of posts is fine.

But this constant stream is odd.

Going to let this drop, because if you still can not see the obsessive behavior at this point, you are simply determined to ignore the obvious.

Anyway, I do enjoy 90% of your posts.

historian

The only obsessive behavior I see is your need to criticize. I still don't know why you care. No one is forcing you to click.

I post because I find the scriptures inspirational. (I'm getting tired of repeating myself). My hope is that someone else is also inspired but each person will decide for themselves. If one person gets something positive out of it then it is worthwhile.

I will not censor myself, especially when it comes to the word of God.

"And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, 'Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger." "For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.
